A basic noise generator for textile fabric.
NOISE LAB (tm) is the name of a range of noise generator snippets that present essential methods and advanced techniques of the art & science of custom noise building.
These snippets are meant as tutorials for aspiring noise engineers and have been created with a purely instructional purpose in mind, but they may also be used as generic noise generators supplementing the texture generation capabilities of your image-editing host application.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Since the techniques presented in these snippets will generally be 'common' knowledge for advanced filter builders, the author explicitely discourages giving credit when using parts of these snippets in your own filters. Keep your filter descriptions free of unnecessary praise! ;)
