Description

This is a pared down, and I hope better, version of my original Arabesque filter (http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2493.html), written, lo, these seven months ago at least.

There are still a lot of variables, to give you maximum flexibility, but I've cut out little fiddly-tweak controls to make the filter less cluttered and easier to use. I've also streamlined the internal structure somewhat, improved the outline method, and added better global tone adjustment controls. I hope you all like it!

NOTE:
I've added Pattern Offset controls to allow you to center the pattern element you like the best. If you turn “Size: pixels” down to at least half the maximum value, sometimes you’ll see that the centered element is not the one you really want – use the offset controls to zero in on your favourite bit!
