Description

Create a Corroded Rusty Surface.The added controls allow more flexibility in changing and producing a greater variety of surfaces including mottled and encrusted types that even look like lichen growth, examples of which can be seen in a couple of presets added at the end.Note:Patchiness controls have limited to no effect when Encrust_2 is on the highest settings.Corrosion Area Edge controls the Sharpness of Corrosion Area boundary (this is apparent only with a large Corrosion Area Size), it also controls overall noise level.Also note that the Lighting tab settings have an enormous impact on the result, for example a slight change of orientation of the sphere can sometimes produce drastic changes.You'll find you may need to adjust the Brightness control in the Lighting tab when changing the Encrust_2 amount, especially for setting 5.To reduce the amount of white specks, reduce the Highlight amount and/or increase Surface Height in the Lighting tab.
