Description

On its own, serves much the same function as switching to indexed color with a specified color table, but it's really better suited as a pre-processing step dropped in to other filters... works great with artistic filters, for example, specifying which colors of crayons you can use in a crayon filter.The script component will constrain each pixel in the image to the nearest color within the set of colors you've specified as your palette. (if "Use Lab Distance" is checked, it uses the L*a*b* color space to make this determination, otherwise it uses simple RGB)This example has each of the colors mapped to a separate control input, you could easily have fewer controls and construct your palette dynamically, you could even do crazy creative things by having the colors be maps of their own.
