there's a problem with this filter. Its appearance changes dramatically when seamless tiling is turned on - either the number of stripes is reduced or it's a solid-color field. This is why all previews on the website look differently from what you would see in Filter Forge - the previews are always rendered with seamless tiling forced to "on". Also, you can get the same effect in Filter Forge by switching between variations in Randomizer. The cause of the problem is that you use Noise with Stretch=100 to generate the stripes. We'd rather recommend Noise Gradient for that purpose. Or, you can control the Stretch parameter by an IntSlider with Max Value set to anything below 100. |
