LOL Steve! Control -------------> nice pun! The advanced will like the HLS color controls as well as standard RGB sliders.
A number 3 in the series is eminent because there is one more direction I want to take that was not possible to take at the same time in version 2. I'll wait a week (maybe less before number 3 comes out... but there is going to be a number 3.
Means A LOT to me that you like it because you are the 'King of Metals'. TY for the compliment~ Jean P.S. Here is a test I did for it on font type. Just two applications on a solid light blue color for text. Could easily combine with other colors and fonts for an array of metal looks. Also tried the filter on images--------> WOW!~ I love this filter. Thank you so much for your reccomendation to go ahead and make a version of this filter for the advanced. If you hadn't suggested it I wouldn't have thought to make a version 2... and now there will certainly be a version 3. Hey Jean I think that this effect has all kinds of potential under several different filters to become high-usage.....due to it having an extremely wide range of different applications.....

Wow, this filter really does an excellent job on text as you've shown above! Great job, a lot of the time, you can't tell just how good a filter is until you've seen it in a different context ^_^ Good thing you have that example there, definitely an eye opener! -Zephos |

Thanx I believe that you could expand the reletively "untapped" potential of this concept to make many different and extremely usable filters.....high usage filters!!! eh???

LOL The inner workings of this filter are wonderful because they are designed to adhere and stick verses an overlay of metal-------------> I beat my head against a wall when making the it because I didn't want an overlay type metal---> reminds me of similar uses to Super Blade Pro. Oh this filter isn't done tranforming itself yet.  My time right now seems to be torn with making the filters verses making with the filters. ((I have no new filters dropping out on Monday---> I know... unusual for me.  But don't worry this filter will have some offspring~

I've had my nose busy in filters and hand coding (profile page). That's all done and back to filters now. This image is beautiful! If you look at it long enough it starts to trick the mind. I think that this filter is awesome, especially for text. Persidio you have some amazing filters that I have passed by because I didn't think of all the different applications that they could be used for. Sorry.
