It's like Decomposite Jr. really, check that one out for more sliced and displaced mayhem, or better yet, go download some of volde's filters ha-ha

----Well, just saying, it's really just a take off/variation of Decomposite now, but at least it's *better* eh. I the case of either leaving up a filter that I know sucks, or replacing it with something a little redundant that doesn't completely suck, I'll go with redundant, although I normally at least make some attempt to avoid much of that eh. Anyways, thanks for the bump, and glad you found a use for the new, and hopefully final version of Shape Warp 2.

LOL..... I actually think there is alot more you could do with this concept.....circles, triangles, honeycombs, Kaleidoscope patterns, organic patterns, etc.....and even mix some of them.....I think this concept has alot of artistic app potential.....and can easily convert the filter to the other pattern configs..... Steve

----I tried some of that, and really, it just kind of became more of a kaleidescopic mess. By keeping the square/circle shapes simple, I felt a lot more *definition* was achieved, less artsy mush, and more simple/effective effect. Yer of course welcome to mod it out and submit a filter with various shapes if you can make one yer happy with, I couldn't, so I just kept it simple.

Well, I found it can turn to mush with this filter too......if there is alot of detail in your image with the smaller increment settings of the filter. I think the key would be to keep the increments on a larger scale to keep it clean.....
Maybe I'll try a mod of it later if I ever find an end to what I'm doing now ......and not close to being done with this one yet......just started Steve

Sorry, got bored and thought I'd add a little goof/hype to my threads. Lord knows I "bringz tha tenseness" enough, thought I'd aim for more light-hearted and see how that goes
