actually, these arent expressions of creativity but rather volde's attempt to destroy the life preserver. after 294 filters, he's quite sick of looking at it and has gone a bit compulsive in trying to get rid of it

LOL Kraellin!!!! Well today makes the 30th day I've been here at FF and my filter number... ah... I guess I'm not one to talk---------> voldemort my mentor~ LOL
Okay Voldemort... here ya go~ I didn't use a preset but here are my settings: Blur Pinwheet 17.49 Distort 1 41.41 Distort 2 40.91 Distort 3 49.06 Metallic 31.37 Reflection Blur 22.21 Reflectivity 38.35 Refraction 31.35 Repeat gradient 6 Mirror Gradient Unchecked Apply Copy and create a new image. (Set Aside) Go back to original and remove application. Go to application image set aside, copy. Back to original and paste as new layer. Go to layer properties and set transparency to 60. BTW my big brother is a storm chaser so I know they have groups and web sites-----> you should make sure they know about this filter.

I had a devilish Idea to tweak your photo so that the silo was a pinwheel stick

My brother is the one who knows this topic like the back of his hand-----> And will post his reply for you~
I know enough to get me by when a storm is coming in. So from a novice perspective I'd say it doesn't look like a scud (fake tornado)---> those look different from this ... was thinking updraft maybe? But then again I'm too green on this topic. Okay this has me perplexed to I'll show the URL's to my big brother. He'll either get back to me right away or it might take a few days but as soon as I know you'll know. And he will know~ That's his thing...
Jean P.s. Okay I sent the email with the URLs for the pics. I looked at them some more... and this is what I do know---> some car lights are on because it's dark... for me that is an indicator that the pressure has dropped--------> not good. Also there is no rain... --> also not good. So I'm very interested in his reply. This may have been a close call no? Can you tell me anything else about the storm? Hey girl you do know that Persidio is a mispell ? It's Presidio. *hugs* Nevermind everyone she's blonde. ^_^ You'll easily forgive her lack of IQ for what she makes up for in beauty. I had to kick a lot of tail in high school watching after her. Not that it helped any... Anywayzzz No I'm not a weatherman or a meteorologist as the case of identifying these cloud formations would call for. I'm *just* a storm chaser. I'm no expert. My sis likes to blow things out of proportion. Um...that just didn't sound right. But I'll leave it. HOWEVER, I can say some things. My advice consists more of what wetaher is ~not~ in relation to one type of storm system; tornadic, rather than what weather ~is~. These are ~not~ updraft clouds These ~are~ high altitude These are associated with a nearby STRONG storm system These clouds will ~never~ produce a tornado These clouds are super freaky looking These clouds would make me fear god (or alien invasion) That's my two cents worth. I would like to add that they are in the Mammatus family of cloud formation. And it appears the photographer caught some rare ball lightning as well. Yours, New Mexico Stormchaser |
