I just made this filter because it was something simple, and I wanted just a few simple filters in my list. But after playing with it for a bit I found that it wasn't as useless as I first thought. Check this out...
Just simple black text with the filter applied to it. I am thinking this filter could also be used to make web buttons, water effects, and who knows what else. I am a bit ego-tystical, but I like my filter Do a good turn daily.

interesting. i think we have several 'plastic wrap' types now and i was about to dismiss this one as 'oh, another plastic wrap'. lol. but, there's some really good variations in this one. #1, 4, 5 and 7 really stand out as unique. Ya can't sell art to artists!

Yeh it work beautifully on the text samples - I had the same thoughts as Kraellin on another plastic wrap [ I tend think that about patterns too ] so they need something different and yours has - so good stuff
If you don't you can't expect others to I'm going to live forever or die trying
