As usual very clever and beautifully excuted  , I must admit I couldn't help but laugh when I saw it and far be it that one of the peasants suggests something to the Emperor LOL [ If I get the guilletine at least I know what I can have as my last meal ] what about an option for toast under the egg - we now will need a new section in the library " Food " LOL I'm going to live forever or die trying ........Carl |

Yup, toast is a good idea, as well as slices of bacon and sprinkles of pepper. Currently, I'm focusing on making it work with the 'Size, pixels' slider...

Haha... PUNNY! In all seriousness, this looks delicious. I like how the HDR lighting is used to tasty effect here. Fried eggs are my fave (moreso than scrambled or other varieties), but I gotta wonder what's gonna be served up next? I have a certain predilection for foodstuffs, ever since the days of the Flying Toasters in After Dark. Speaking of, this would make a fine 'n' dandy screensaver too. Well, it's as good as the fruit ones eh. I vaguely recall a preview or threat about this one a few months back, good work though, it looks pretty realistic, as far as shiny egg blobs go (sorry, not a fan of eggs, don't eat them etc.).

Update incoming!
I ditched the frame components in favor of a tiles-based architecture to make this filter work correctly with 'Size, pixels'. The look will only change minimally, but those who liked the old version for some reason can still get it here: Fried Egg old.ffxml --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid Mac version!" |
