Wow dug in its guts and its brilliant --allready created an excellent filter based upon it
using 3 stages its a random size tiler and it works flawlessly it provides 3 sizes of tile and randomly outputs them with out overlap SWEET A brilliant use of noise as the random control imput for your grins -Very clever the first 3 screens are without alpha the last with an alpha 
The posibilities for this method are endless --this one alone only took 2 minutes of modification lets all whine for a wine port |

I added 2 more smaller layers and the render speed isnt affected at all like I said before Brilliant work lets all whine for a wine port |

I took the random factor and pluged it into some deforms and the results work just as good
I had played with using noise as control imput but never even thought to take it to this next level for random input like this lets all whine for a wine port |

but, you know, this is one of those filters that you go 'wow!' to and then want to go out and smash cars with a sledge hammer if you look at it too long. i think it's called the 'overly cute' factor filters, filters, filters... NO FILTERS FOR YOU!!!

I was wondering when Crapadilla was going to post a new filter. I love it.

I have no clue what part of the filter internals would be snippet material. It's all pretty straightforward stuff, really. Just slapping tile components together. --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid Mac version!" |

Its the simple things that often confuse folk if it wouldnt offend you maybe I can whip out 5 or 6 snippets that showcase the strength of your method --all credits to you as the originator for the technique I just submitted one based upon this that is a random rotate and tile --in other wordes each section of the tile is randomly rotated--works flawlessly i could showcase some options like that for folks lets all whine for a wine port |
