david, i like this except for one thing and it shows in all of the presets. there seems to be a sort of patina over your 'marble'. it's like looking at the marble through a bit of clear plastic or something. a sort of glossy, hazy sort of effect. it's not real strong but just enough that i'd go seeking other marble filters. i guess it sort of reduces the grain or definition or something of that order, a mild blurring.

Hi David~

I luv marble. Use to have a marble table when I was single (a decade ago)... now I'm married and have a wood table, LOL.

Shine is good... more of a flat varnish look.. not a shine that has a ripple. I'd love to see you take this to a more realistic marble if you wanted to keep working on it. Sometimes a filter is 'done' ... I understand. However I think you have something here with the marble... VERY nice filter!!!

I have just uploaded an update of this filter....just waiting....
Now I have added more realistic texture of veins and so you can create all the type of marble that you need (adjust color, amount and details of veins, deep and lights of the leaks.)

Thanks to all for your support and your precious advices!

Bye,

Thanks again.... I'm trying to do better my filter now without worry about time (yes...my free demo will expire at the end of August...but I use this great program only at pc in the office for a very small time each day. And for about 3 weeks in August we are closed!!!) So I have maybe another 10 days to use FF. I will try to do my best!

Thanks again,
davidhyno
