Thank you Steve~ I've been wanting to make a soft black and white for some time now. I was trying to think of the photographer who discovered the soft lighting on b&w photos back in the 40's ... I believe it was in the 40's... can't think of his name. There was a popular female star he was taking photos of.. can't think of the stars name right now either.
I'll post some samples up later today. Already have some in the user Gallery. My favorite presets are the crisper Ansel Adam type. "Strength does not come from winning.Your struggles develop your strength. When you go through hardship and decide not to surrender, that is strength."

That would be nice~ LOL But to be honest I'm happy if only a few people enjoy it.., makes it all worth the while, doesn't have to be an HU. This happens to be a filter I made for my own use because I wanted a filter like this. So.. might as well load in the library. 
Still turning out my best work, just not going for HU's anymore. People get too competitive. I do my best work, I turn out what I turn out and if it goes HU that's nice~ "Strength does not come from winning.Your struggles develop your strength. Well if that made your day I know this will... When I sit down to 'use' filters... I'm one of your biggest fans as a filter user. And the new soft direction you are going... that's very kewl. Besides I think you have made enough glass to keep us well stocked for years to come~

Couldn't have done it without him~ He has some other snippets as well so I will have to give them a test drive this week. And you know Ub's filters are calling us... I think this one is also worthy of a B&W series No joke I would try experimenting with threshold in combination with gamma and blackpoint/whitepoint levels.....

However... *chuckle* you havn't looked under the hood of this bad boy yet have you? It's okay I know the filter looks deceptively calm on the surface, underneath runs a red hot lava river of gamma's and thresholds~
And yes you are right. I need to do a B&W series. The problem right now is time. Still focusing on updates. If I do one more week of updates, maybe start the B&W's on the weekend or Monday of next week. Hold on I have to check my fitler schedule...
