Sometimes you just need something very simple.

nice. and yes, sometimes the simplest of textures are the best.
there is one other thing you do. i've seen a lot of swirled concrete patterns in real life of late. it's a finish they do on decorative concrete, somewhat raised with a very circular motion, like brushed with a notched trowel. Ya can't sell art to artists!
