This filter was designed for ease of use in comparison to the other two B&W conversion filters in this series. It divides the RGB chanels into 12 separate B&W filter modes..... Steve

these are good, steve. i particularly like the second one. that tonal quality reminds me of some of the artistic 'paint with light' images i've seen over retouchpro, and like Ya can't sell art to artists!

i have mentioned you over at retouch i've used some of your filters on projects there and some of your influence on my own, like the silver surfer filter. just did another using that on a flower. really turned it to glass. quite striking and folks seemed to like that one.
sorry, dont want to hijack your thread here, but i'll post that one and then get back on topic  Ya can't sell art to artists!

well, it was originally your filter. that's a result of silver surfer on a flower pic and the surfer was my mod of one of yours. so, yes, your filter
the original i did on that pic was done on the whole image. the second one, that received more comments, was a cutout of just the flower pasted back on the original background, which is what see posted here. and thanks for the 'wow' (that's always what i strive for. nothing like a good 'wow' to brighten one's day ) and for your excellent help and your many metal and glass filters. that pic wouldnt probably have been possible without you. so, 'wow!' back at'cha Ya can't sell art to artists!

I added three softness modes to these......to give some artistic finishing to the conversions...... Steve

black and white with softness modes shld be quite attractive. next time i'm doing b&w's i'll have to try them out. Ya can't sell art to artists!

Please do......I would love to hear what you think of them in a professional conversion capacity, how you would like to see them improved (if at all), and see some samples of what you are doing......
And yes, you are responsible for getting me into these from when you delved into it back along..... Steve
