Cool one!
I'd remove the 'Center X/Y' functionality to keep it always centered though, plus I'd tighten the remapping on the 'Color repeat' as it doesn't randomize predictably with that large of a value range.   --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid Mac beta!" |

I initally needed the xy offset, and a selection component, which is why it is filed wrongly in the 'Effect filters': I accidentally left an unused image component in there  .
I think I'll make two versions of this one (effect and texture) and leave the offset out of the texture version. I don't know about tightening the color repeat though, because the highest 'Color repeat' with a low 'Swirl' still looks good, and this is actually the effect I needed when I made the filter. I just got carried away a bit with the swirl eventually (the twist wasn't even in there at first). |

Cool stuff, I liked the fade to brightness effect on this, made me wonder if you had used the HDRI lighting just for that.  There were 2 little sub-groups of unconnected modules inside it though, cleanup isle. 3

nice update. glad you removed that overly bright center! some interesting variations in there, also. Ya can't sell art to artists!

This is so cool! I like that you can get some kind of Celtic triskelion effects.
And some of those wobblier variations (I'm thinking of variations 1 and 7) are worthy of a Fillmore poster.
