Great filter Wink
I improved it a bit for speed (removed two colorizing-only Assemble HSB and took advantage of internal sample cache by using one Perlin Noise plus two Offsets instead of two Noise Distortions) -- it looks almost the same. I'll upload the optimized version here for your review. If you decide to apply the proposed optimizations, I don't need any credits Smile

Optimized version is really faster. I've submitted it.
Like how it looks also with more low distortion degree and I’ve decided to add "Distortion" control in update. Thank You very much!

Dilla: "onyX, you should do these optimizations more often! Very instructive..."

Agree!

Thanks to All and need another suggestion...

This type (method, technique) of weaving - has it a name in English?

My god, the WIP version is beautiful.

I believe most of us call that 'basket weaving'. I'm sure there's a more technical name, but I don't know what it is.

yes, that is 'basket weave'. you could also call it 'cross-hatch', but that's a more generic term.

Add a gallery link to each filter on its' description page specifically for authors and users to post filter application samples.....kinda turning each filter into its' own little website.....

now, if FF incorporated a little 3D viewer into the website, imagine the possibilities there.
