Thanks to Fred (Sign Guy) for the idea..
Still trying different types of masking effects for this one but nothing really works 100% perfect without some PS or PSP intervention.. 
Also working on a non-square version also..Still need to get a good working type of mask first...  |

Yeah, a stand-alone mask/selection tool would be nice..... 
Maybe you could just have this one work with PS and PSP.....and have other versions intended for artistic use. I think Craig's selection filter started to get into some usable concepts for this..... Steve

hmm I was also thinking about the non-square version could be used for the filters that just won't work with the FF seamlessness.. |

How did I miss this one!!!! Holy Cow man!!! I take back everything good I have said about any other filter and give it to this one, I mean really!
The only thing I have with this is that you can see a blurred diamond in more detailed images, so I altered it a bit and think the outcome was nice. Take a gander at this! Seamless Tile Concept.ffxml Do a good turn daily.

I think Uberzev's Real Bomber might be incredibly useful for creating tiles from photos or graphic images also. Any plans to add it to the library?

I take it you like this one Redcap...
That modification looks good..Ya unfortunately the masking diamond doesn't look so good with some images...But it blends in good with others..Its a play with it and see how it comes out kind of filter...But still decent results.. Will be interesting Fred to see Ubers Real Bomber in action... |
