And a promised preview.
I also hope one of you wants to help me out optimizing the filter. I was able to add some depth in the wood, but there must be some way to make it more 'relief' I think for instance from the original picture contrast. Please comment all you want and help me out improving it! Thanks in advance and hope others have use of this filter too Koh (as a matter of fact some help on how to attach a preview here would be helpfull too i think, keeps her fingers crossed) |

I'd recommend you try and get creative with your blends and make this a simple filter (by simple I mean no height input). The height map is not doing a whole lot of good as it simply provides noise you could do a lot less expensively by a blend.
GL on this, It's cool to see examples of how you could use a thing like this. |
