 it's real nice, but personally I would have preferred the hexagons to have some sort of outline... gives it more 'form'

Yeah, I could have easily done that. However as this is a snippet I tried to make the demonstration as simple as possible.

If you open the filter in the editor you will find some ready made outlines that just haven't been connected. Smile
