ok, that's kind of interesting. i would have thought the natural thing to do would have been to put a window in there. maybe a framing component with a window mod? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

OH GOOD LORD
I thought I actually did something special. I worked hard on learning how to mask out that stupid square. As I read this I opened FF and, using the framing component, reproduced the masking in literally a few second. Well, the up side is, I was actually masking in order to kind of practice mask control. Some of the filters I have in my brain will require masking akin to the Wall Distressed Section 01 filter. So all is not lost. Well...lol...I didn't just go through the elbow, I went through both elbows and both knees, if you know what I mean. I guess the only absolute is that there are no absolutes? |

lol lords8n, even if you ended up finding an easier way to accomplish the effect, you know doubt learned something in doing it the hard way. | |

yup, i agree with uber. if you learned some basics there then no matter how much faster a way you find, in the end you're going to be better off. master the components any way you can and you've mastered the whole. heck, we didnt even have the framing component in the first 4 or 5 versions of FF beta i'd add a door too If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
