I wrote to FF to add credit to Crappadilla. Unfortunately I accidentally wrote your name as Crappazilla. I changed a lot inside it so technically it is not "Loungy" anymore.

I contacted Bella to correct the spelling.

My husband has done auto restoration for 30+ years and I used to make diamond tuck. Your lounge lizards reminded me of diamond tuck. Yes, I used pieces of your filter in mine, but mine is quite a bit different and I didn't just change a setting and call it mine. I'm not uuk.

Cool. smile:) I'd maybe put a switch for a non-rotated design (I know I know, it wouldn't exactly be "diamond" tuck then ha-ha), just for extra variety. But I do like how the presets looks, very high-tech for an old upholstery style eh. smile:D

Right now, the way it is, when you hit the varient button it always gives a nice new preset. I will leave well enough alone.

Crapadilla, so you know, I love your lounge lizard filter as it is, I just saw a potential for new filters to come from it.

I want to find a way to put a fabric type texture on yours, but I haven't figured it out yet. I tried with my woolen fabric. If you ever decide you want to do that to your Loung Lizard, feel free to use my woolen texture or any other fabric texture I have. It would be a very useful filter for 3D artists for couches and such. smile:)

PS...sorry about writing Crapazilla in the description thing which should be posted tonight. I changed the default preset as the textured one gives the ugliest thumbnail.

btw, what is 'diamond tuck'? i look at the filter and can sort of get the idea of what it might be, where the corners and edges of a diamond shaped object are sort of tucked under, but is that correct?

If you look on door panels in some cars and trucks you will see this type of upholstry. The squares are the diamonds. When I used to make diamond tuck for my husband's vehicles I would take the layer of thin fabric, a layer of foam, and a layer of vinyl and sew them in this pattern. The buttons are a special type that you cover with the fabric and a metal piece with teeth goes on and you punch it down with a tool. You poke this through the diamond tuck and then thread a heavy cord through the door panel piece and the button. The diamond tuck is glued to the panel first and then the holes poked in. But you get the idea. The sewed areas cause the diamond shape to look puffed. The foam itself is only about 1/4 inch thick.

The textured ones make horrible thumbnails. I'm surprised anyone even downloaded it.

I resubmitted again last night because FF can't add the extra info to the description area. At least I spelled his name right so when you see it on Monday you won't be seeing Crappazilla. smile:D

I can see this one going HU, and maybe it would have been easier for Crapadilla to change his name to Crappazilla smile:dgrin:

I don't see any of mine going HU. The one that was HU was a piece of crap and I had that one deleted, so I guess that means I now have a -1 HU. smile:)

No, it was the one that was handed to me so STeve would only have to use two of his HUs to get me the program. It was that ugly couch fabric one.
