Thankee, though I think not, yours simply handles diffrent kinds of marble. Mine's for the veiny ones In ancient Egypt, Cats used to be revered as Gods.

Miavir, this one should become an HU filter..... If you continue to create useful material filters like this, you should easily get all the HUs you want.....
If you come to the end of the additional time extensions on the demo (up to 90 days I believe) and you still don't have enough HUs for the free copy......contact me and I will get a copy for you..... All I will ask is that you continue submitting your wonderful creations and get 5 more HUs for the lifetime updates reward How does that sound??? Steve

We'll see. Like I said, no HU's for me yet. And I reached the second deadlike (70 days) a bit back, with no HU in sight. Which forced me to reevaluate my position and come to the conclusion that trying to get a License through HU's isn't useful for the kind of Filter I tend to make (Veined Marble is more of a fluke in being a Material Filter, it was made for use in a diffrent filter, which you will see probably in the New Year). So anyhow, I decided to say 'OK, never mind, no more running after HU's.' I bought a 'Standard Edition' License, since I don't use the Professional Features much anyhow, that cost only 125 Euro. So now I'm gonna work on getting 5 HU's for the Lifetime Update, but I'm gonna do it slowly and on my own timeline. Each filter will be made the best I can, and they will take however long it takes to make, no more looking at any deadlines
Thank you for your kind offer, but, as you see, it is no longer necessary, I decided to cough up a bit of cash to reduce the hassle of running after these extensions where you never know if you'll ever get a HU anyhow. Thats my main complaint about the HU system btw, an author cannot really see how close any filter is to actually getting a HU, so he's forced to just blindly guess what will be liked with no feedback. It would be useful if we could at least see the usage stats of our *own* filters.
Oh I will definitely continue submitting, only I will a) work longer on each filter, you saw that in Veined Marble, almost a month to finalize it where before I would have gotten it out within a week. b) Not spend such a large percentage of my free time on FForge. After all, if I total up the time I spent on my previous filters I'd be WAY under a decent wage per hour even if I HAD gotten a free license, so it is really not that good a deal. On the other hand, I like playing with FForge as a hobby, so I will likely continue doing so. In ancient Egypt, Cats used to be revered as Gods.

Well, it seems like you will get them.....
I do too sometimes......I find that you can be much more creative when you're not under any pressure to produce anything..... Steve

Glad you like. and getting my first HU on it so long after I posted it surprised me no end P.S.: Persidio: I sent you some mail (through the FForge mail tool) about one of your filters a few months back, but never received a reply, did that ever reach you ?
