Just used this filter, and I have to say it has a very nice techno look

Thanks, Rawn. I've often been very impressed with your stuff -- so the feedback is especially appreciated. (I wish I had more free time, so I could give respects to all those that impress me here.) With this filter, I was always thinking of going back to lessen some of the "roughness" effects in some of the presets (as well possible other minor tweaks), but never got around to it... |

Thanks, StevieJ and Kraellin. It's relatively old, but, yeah, I’m often surprised when I notice older FF library filters that I’ve missed too. (There seems to be too many in the library to keep track of and remember/notice. This isn’t a complaint; it’s just something I often find myself noticing.) (Disclaimer: I haven't slept for three days, so maybe read my following comments with this context in mind.) ...I just noticed that Alien Engineering is a “Low usage” filter – which seems about right, as it was submitted as an experiment that I thought was potentially interesting, but perhaps only rarely (if that) useable. (And to digress into a tangent) in regards to the label of “low usage”: I don’t think this label has too negative of a connotation (in my mind at least). That is, since I don’t think the “low usage” label implies that the filter is “crappy”, the label still seems rather neutral. …Meanwhile, I think that all my submitted filters have some degree of “crappiness” to them – some more so than others… (I probably should remove from the library (or at least update) some filters that I’ve submitted – I guess I just like to keep them there to help me see how I’ve evolved…) In any case, something to StevieJ: One thing I like about you is that you seem to have no qualms about updating/resubmitting your filters – where you seem to like to keep perfecting your filters… I tend to be rather shy, and this keeps me from wanting to submit or update filters (and exposing myself even more)… So, not only in artistic ways, but in psychological ways, I think you’ve been an inspiration. |

Thanks ssamm.....glad to be of help in any positive way..... I wrote FF and apologized for all my re-submissions.....seemed like I was doing it every other day lately on my last wave of photo filters.....but after numerous re-submissions, I think that I finally got them right..... Steve
