Nice Woodgrain there.
I suggest you take a look at your bump/normals though and do one of two things: A) Make it a surface (as opposed to texture) filter because it looks pretty good just on the diffuse (I recommend this) B) Do some work and get the bump map to start actually affecting the normal, one quick easy cheat to do this would be to add a blur of magnitude .001 right before your bumpmap goes into the result component. Try this out and look at your normal maps to see what I mean. Good luck, and again, nice job on the grain, its top notch. |

Hello,
thanks for the feedback. I've only had FF for a week and I make my filters for a hobby, fun to play with. I havent payed any attention to normal maps. The reason I used the "texture mode" was to get the bump map. The grain is as the info says based on Kobachevs Wood, the best wood generator so far. I'll look into you suggestions. // Totte - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |

I didn't expect an EP for this one. I made it just because I needed some wrinkled wood planks for a DnD map I was working on - I never expected the Spanish inquisition |
