Fantastic! This will come in handy for all kinds of things - pistol grips, etc. | |||

that's very good, constantin. very clean, lots of variety and an area i dont think anyone else has touched upon. nice If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

The filter can be expanded with other types of knurling, I think about it. Thanks for comments! An example of use: |

Very nice Constantin.
A basic ridge would be useful. |

there's actually quite a few useful texture ideas within that photo, ron. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Very true, it embodies a look that I associated with science and quality as a kid. This one is Japanese but companies like LOMO and Ziess had a very similar appearance – now it's all jellybean shaped nylon. Come to think of it, we need one of those textures of that ubiquitous black surface used by Spencer and others. |

if you're talking about that rough, black, sort of bumpy texture, then yes, i agree If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
