I recently have a new 3D software (Infinito) that makes terrains from height maps And I needed to make may own height map drawing it all by hand on photoshop using the grid view Now that I have seen this, I thought that perhaps modifying this filter in some way, it could be used to make automatic gray squares with different levels of shading and fill a whole square with them. Here below is the height map I have made myself by hand
