This is a great texture... you guys should spend a day taking a stroll through the Filter Categories, some of the earlier ones have really fantastic textures for urban and sci-fi architectural effects!
Of course, I didn't make any of them (wished!) but I still enjoy going through the FF Library now and then ~Foxxee~
You are more than welcome to use and learn from my FF filters ;) |

Weird, it doesn't tile seamlessly, it only appears to on the one design because of the border. jffe Filter Forger |

Im using this on a 3d grain silo and I have been messing around with the filter components without luck, trying to make it so the drip effect radiates out from the centre.. For the top of the silo..thats like a cone shape..you can see a photoshopped filter version using radial blur..thats not very good.
Any tips on what I should investigate to make a radial pattern of decay rather than a vertical one? Edit: I got by using cylindrical projection this time but It would be interesting to hear how you'd make this work with top down projection on a cone rather than side on. Only thinking of the noise rather than the bevels and bolts at this stage. Thanks |
