I've tried several times in the last three days to submit a filter. I've tried launching FF as a standalone and from inside Photoshop. Makes no difference. Here's the message.

To try to fix this, I checked my login information, and reentered the password. I assume this is all working right anyway, otherwise I would not be download filters. |

I had that issue at the beginning of the week...If you can log in to the form you should be able to submit filters....You don't need to log in to download filters only submit them... Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

This week I had the same problem when trying to login to the forum, I wrote perfectly the password and it told me that was not authorized. So I thought on contacting FF support, but then thought that an easier and faster way was to reset the password, so I used the "forgot password" link and then I was given a email message to change it and I could put a new password (really was the same one as before) and now it works right. |

I actually don't have to log into the forum, because I remain logged in from session to session. The last time I logged out I could not get back in. I had to get help. And the last time I reset my password, the software sent me one that didn't work. I reset again, and same thing. I think there was also a link with the password, and it didn't work either.
Maybe I'll just hold off submitting this filter for awhile. See if it fixes itself. But as of a few minutes ago, I could not submit. |

EXACTLY, this is the same that happened to me before this week, I am using 4 different browsers, and I could ONLY use the forum in the ones that I still had the FF cookies, on the the one I did not I could NOT login and it told me always that my password was wrong although this was NOT true.

Sorry ?? The software sent you a password ???
I have just made a reset to be able to fix this problem and Filter Forge did NOT send me any password, they sent me a link to reset the password and enter myself my OWN new password , so is not possible that FF could have sent you the password and that it did not work.

When was this that happened this to you ? Was this long time ago, or recently ?
As said above I have made a reset now, and there was NOT any link WITH the password, the link takes you to a page to put your OWN choosen password. FF does not make it for you.

Bad news, as far as I know it will NOT fix itself. I have been around a month with this problem to log in, and it did not fix itself in any moment, and finally I decided to give up and reset the password to fix it myself or contact the FF support and after reset the password and put back my OWN same password it worked again.
You will have to wait until monday that GMM will be available and could help you with this better. |

I think the last time this happened was in February. I was sent what looked like an auto generated email that said

I've replaced the actual info with underlines, but you get the idea. They had changed the password and sent me another one. It didn't work. They also sent me an email link to change it again, and that link didn't work. Anyway, maybe I'll wait a week and see what happens. Maybe try changing my password again. |

Please. can you tell me HOW did FF Inc. sent you a new password ???
Because following what I have explained above FF is NOT sending you any password, they send ONLY a link so YOU can enter your own password. |

SpaceRay is right: we don't have your passwords, only hashes – this means we can only reset a password but not change it.
Andrew, if the problem still persists please contact the support team. |
