I downloaded FF to see if it would run as a stand-alone under WINE or with a VMWare client of Windows 2000. I do not have a free-standing Windows system.
Wine gives me an error: Debugger detected [304]
whatever that means. Photoshop runs undre WINE, so I hoped FF might.
With Win2000 it installs and begins to launch, then shows me a dialog box telling me the trialis expired. It never opened, even the day after the download. |

hi tsu,
the FF guys are pretty good about handling this sort of thing in the forums, but the faster, more reliable way is if you use the contact email thing from this site.If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Tsu Dho Nimh,
I've already replied twice to emails you sent via the contact form. Looks like you aren't getting my replies from our standard support email.
Now I sent a message from a gmail account to both of your email addresses. Hope it reaches you |

Tsu, since PS is working correctly, did you try FF as a PS plugin??? Steve

Bella -
I finally got your direct mail. Apparently your regular mailing method triggered a spam filter.
If I can find a spare hard drive for installing Win2000 on I'll download a fresh trial and do it that way.
Steve - PS works under WINE, but I don't have PS. I was trying to use FF as a stand-alone app under VMWare or WINE. |

With the cheap trials, I decided to risk the $6 and try it.
1 - Still does not work in WINE
2 - Works acceptably under Windows2000 and VMWare |
