While inside the editor if you have open/or open a normal size pic then revert back to the built in pics, the pixel ratio is wrong - close the editor and gui render is still wrong

YES, Is true I have seen that if you do this as you have said, the thumbnail is reduced very much and the 600x600 is reduced to about 200x200 or even less, and EVEN after exit of filter editor, and if you select "Actual size" instead of "Reduced" it shows again the real 600x600 of the built in.
The only way I have found to solve this is to close the application and start it again, and then it works again as usual. |

Another good reason to have Actual size option ON as default |

I would never have the Actual size ON by default because I would die waiting to see something in the screen when I load a photo and it would be shown at the 100% and would have to keep resizing it to fit in the screen.
AND what happens when you change a single setting ?
Have to wait another 15 minutes to see what happens after you changed it. |

You can always zoom in on a region of interest when making changes to settings. The zoomed area is rendered first.
That way you also avoid rendering a preview and then when saving having to wait for it to render again at 100%.
But I guess it's a matter of taste, each of us probably finds different things more usefull or comfortable. |
