Hello,

On a Win 7 (standard) 64 bits, Intel i7, 16 Gb ram and FF 3.007 Pro / x86-SSE2 3.007.23937. 7602 Rel -SSE2 ...

FF pro eats all the CPU. Working on images around 2500 x ... , the CPU goes to (95 - 100 % during all work) smile:evil:

All cores are used.

Any idea ?

Many thanks

You can switch to using a single core in Tools > Options > Rendering.

Is this bad for you ? smile:?:

Filter Forge is well made to be able to get the most from the CPU and use at the most part to speed up and work better.

Are you having any problem with this being using all the CPU ?

I personally like it this way.

Dunno. It's a question.

It's not a question "to like it or not" smile;) , just "is it the normal way" ?

Yes, this is how FF works (and for me is a good way)

Although NOT ALWAYS do it, I think it depends on the filter and how much has FF to work to be able to make the result
