Don't know if this has come up before or not, but the ability to drag and drop the control names in the Order of Controls screen would be nice. This was actually suggested by a friend of mine who was messing with one of the filters I was making.

this is something i've wanted for a while too. even if all you did was make it so that a single control would move continuously when you clicked on the scroll control instead of having to click it each time to move it one space in the control list, that would be really good. when you've got 20 controls or 30 and you're trying to re-order them all, it's a bit tedious, currently, to try to move those all around in the list by a one click, one move action on the scrollers.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I think this feature would be very nice as well ^_^ I'm not too fussy about drag and drop, but it would be great if you could select multiple controls at once and move them together. Lately, I've been trying to keep my menus small, but huge scrolling control panels do happen afterall (To me at least) X_^

Still, unless you accidentally reset it by unplugging the Result component a lot *raises hand*, sorting isn't something you will do as comparably frequently I'd imagine to other things in Filter Forge so perhaps not as much of a priority for now. Still, something that would prove quite helpful to creators who... um... accidentally create too many controls *raises hand again*.
