One more suggestion:

The workarea would scroll automatically when we hit the border limits or pass its limits with the mouse while holding and dragging nodes(more outside the pointer is more fast the scroll). It would work for all directions.

Thanks Vlad for the reply. Actually now a days the workspace area already scrolls when dragging Connections. It will be coll to have working also with dragging Components.

Yup, dragging components or its arrows/links in all directions scrolls the workspace.
