I'm asking because now that Component Groups are in beta-testing, a discussion about the community sharing aspects that this functionality could enable might be helpful in laying down a more solid foundation for things to come.

Care to comment?

 Yes I did, and I agreed with basically everything. I already had the link to that post bookmarked for my work on the downloadable snippets.
