I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the FF plugin for photoshop and it used to work just fine. It's not working at all now regarding downloading new filters. I've contacted support with no response yet so I'll post here.
This is the error I'm getting:
<class XFW::OSCallError> ::CreateFileW(error opening named pipe)
failed with error code 0x00000005: Access is denied.
Running Win7 64bit and photoshop cs4 extended 32 bit with the filter installed just fine but unable to download filters from the website and the filter I need isn't in the obsolete library browser. I really need this for a project for my job and it's put me WAY behind! please help! |

The only thing I can think that CCleaner can delete is only the FF cookie, but a new one is automatically created if you follow the instruction given after after you click on download a filter.
I have not seen this error before and is not in the forum either, so I do not know, you can wait until GMM comes later |

Looks like you didn't have write permissions for your %Appdata% folder (unlikely) or you ran out of disk space (more likely). Ccleaner should have deleted some junk, freeing the disk and enabling new downloads. |

actually, I have 1.2Tb of disk space total and about 700Gb of that are free so I don't think it was the lack of disk space but ccleaner took some junk out of the registry that was conflicting with the registered version vs the trial version of ff3. (lol that looks like ffs...anyway oO) um, yeah don't know what fixed it but i'm very happy it's working |

I think there's something wrong with the uninstall where it doesn't take all of the files out of the registry and then makes a conflict. That's why the (error opening named pipe) comes in. |
