yep,
scripted filters have a problem on a mac and ff is working on an update, which is fine. my problem is i can't open ff in order to delete the "bad" filters. i uninstalled/reinstalled....no luck. i'm curious to know if there's a workaround for this.
thanks |

hey gmm,
never mind....fixed it. had to delete the "hidden" library folder. is there any way to tell if a filter is scripted before downloading? |

You can check the filter comments before downloading. Usually someone has already complained if the filter is scripted and doesn't work on Mac. |

Tips to FF team:
Check keydown at start of FF, if it's for example <space>, default to a safe filter to avoid the crash-start-repeat loop, or remember what filter that crashed and avoid starting up with that filter active again.- I never expected the Spanish inquisition |
