So, I'm curious now. What do all you downloaders do with this filter? Come on, show some...

Crapadilla, keep being awesome, you make so many awesome filters. To riff on your being a self-proclaimed "Filter Weaver", I think of you like one of those dudes from that classic Lucasarts game, LOOM.

Anyway, I really enjoyed using this filter in one of my latest LOVE TEXTURES:

You can see it as part of the magic! And the name, "Threads of Destiny", isn't a coincidence either. Thanx again! :o)

That's EXACTLY where the term came from. Fantastic game. And using the Filter Editor is a lot like weaving 'magic'...

Anyway, thanks for the positive comments, Torley. It makes me happy to see people go and create something wonderful with my 'weaves'... smile:D

OMG! It *is* a LOOM reference! Nice.

I am too excited, what a quick reply too! Nice to see you at this hour... I hope to create many more, I'm really enthused. BTW, I added a link back to this page from that Flickr photo, to sate the curiosity of others who wonder how I got the lovely effect, in part thanx to you! =D

LOL.... smile:D You are right about this being under-utilized.....and also about adding more noise components. There were alot of interesting ones following your posted links.....

Anywho, THIS filter looks very interesting.....don't know how I missed this one.....but I'm going to take it for a test drive smile:)

Quite the opposite. I was merely enjoying the fact that this went 'high' usage recently. This has always been one of my secret favorites that I thought was being largely overlooked. Feels good to be proven wrong... smile:D
