Yesterday, I saw maps for the first time. Then later, when I checked, they were greyed out? How exactly does this work?
Maps applicable to filter? and not applicable to creating new filter?Firemup |

the maps on the user side are only enabled on filters that have the HDRI lighting enabled within the editor. the only map available when HDRI is disabled is the alpha.

Hi, I believe it was the linoleum filter but it may have been a recent new submission I was working on. It's odd how I never saw the maps before even though I looked for them.
Also, even though it's been said before Filter Forge doesn't do this, there should be the capability to rename filters (my filters folder) as they are modified.
If I begin building a filter, when I close the editor, it wants a name for the filter. Dunno is what I've used but when the final build is ready for submission, I try to apply a name appropriate to the filter. When that happens, Filter Forge should have the capability of updating My Filters folder with not only the build but the New Name applied to the filter.
One other issue is the check for new filters feature. It does not always appear when you open Filter Forge (referring to the query box asking if you'd like it to check). Is this by design?

Firemup, it appears once per day. If you opened FF during that day before, it won't appear. |
