Filter Forge - How soon till we can submit 2.0 filters

voldemort voldemort Posts: 862 Filters: 635	Ive limited my experimentation with 2.0 after finding I can not submit my filters yet to the library. In fact my luminous diffuse filter I originally developed in the beta but after attempting to share it realized I would have to rebuild the entire filter in v1 I really would love to put the new version through its paces but will probably hold off till then I understand if you can not give a ballpark time table but if you could it would be greatly appreciated (might encourage me to fire up v2 sooner rather than later) lets all whine for a wine port

StevieJ Designer/Artist Posts: 11224 Filters: 163	I can see where there would be some problems integrating V2 filters with V1 filters because of program changes.....and I know that it would work best with all filters together in one library.....but maybe it might be easier if FF considered starting a seperate V2 filter library for submissions to "keep the ball rolling" until they do work out how to combine all filters..... voldemort voldemort Posts: 862 Filters: 635	Actually my assumption had been that they where focused on the engine at this point and not the library Guess I was naive I had assumed all along they would have a second library since purchasers of the original FF would not have the same functionallity lets all whine for a wine port

StevieJ Designer/Artist Posts: 11224 Filters: 163	I'm guessing that the lighting changes are the problem.....because additional components shouldn't have any effect on the existing V1 ones.
