I've been using FF for awhile, but have just really gotten into making my own filters (and having fun doing it). Now I've run into a problem I don't know how to solve. A filter I am making has the frame component. I want to have sliders on it for size as well as color for the inner and outer frames, but can't figure out what components to link together or how to do it to achieve control of both size and color. Is there a way to do it and how? Nothing I've tried so far has worked. |

Thanks Carl, for your reply. The filter I am working on is more complicated and I'm not using an image. The way I have everything connected up, (tiles conned to the frame width and margin) I can either put color or sizing on the frame. I'm trying to figure out how to do both. In looking at it, I think I just need to start over. The more I do, the more I learn. Thanks again. |

Hi Tirza,
You might get better answers if you try posting the problem area here as an image, or even just posting* the filter. I'm not sure we quite understand the question.
Have you tried using a switch? You can create parallel constructions, so you can have 'frame with color' on option 1, and 'frame with sizing' on option 2.
*If you right click on the filter in the filter selector thing, you'll get a 'locate file' option, which will show you the .ffxml file in windows, which you can post. |
