FilterForge takes quite a while to start up for me thesedays, probably because I have such a large filter library installed.
The startup time means I pretty much only use FF in standalone mode thesedays, saving files to pass them between FF and my paint packagte.
It'd be neat if FF supported loading images from the clipboard, and saving images to the clipboard.
This would allow people to easily move images between FF and their paint-package, without having to use temporary files, or wait an age for FF to start up.
Of course if you could do something to speed up the startup/shutdown time, that'd be cool to. (Perhaps keep a FF deamon running, and have the plugin simply 'connect' to that). |

Hell yes. We have this on the list for FF2.0 (I added this myself), but obviously it has lower priority than the major features. |
