Saw bezier curve in new beta 2 of FF3
crazy idea

but it will be lot creative to have bezier shape tool too
smile:(

i think we can solve the text embedding problem (discussed earlier) with thal tool up to some extent

There is no such thing as a 'Saw bezier curve' but i think what you are suggesting is Linear/regular lines without the curve handles?

If yes you can already do this, right click on the Control points and select Corner mode. This will give you a regular line without any curve handles and make it easy to make the saw shapes you want. smile:)

Remember there can be multiple points so if you already have curve points you will have to select Corner mode for any you want like this.

Sorry i read your post the wrong way smile;)

So basically what you want is a new Polygon node which works like the new Bezier Curves system where you can design shapes using points.

If i got that right this time the idea gets a +1 vote from me because that would be very useful as you say. smile:D

yes i think that would make it very competitive to other software (Genetica)
which gives this facility but not as great as FF
I miss it in FF

Do you imagine the NEW SAW Bezier curve that cuts the bezier curves with it´s rotating saw discs smile:D

perhaps it could have been better to write: I Saw bezier curve in new beta 2 of FF3

Perhaps also Vladimir could put this filter to a new use for cutting Bezier curves smile:D
