I am getting this error on submiting new filter:
"Submission failed. Connection error. Reason:'submit_filter()failed.' Please try again later."
Tryed from different locations same result. |

Yes, same thing for me. If I do not cancel the submission, I cannot use FF during this time. So if I cancel, I have to re-upload it again, etc. I tried 9 times, for the same result. |

My patience is tired. What's happened : the server is close ? to busy ? or something else ?
Is it happened each time we have to submit a filter ? And how long we have to wait and try ?  |

Well, I was able to submit two filters after getting a message about FF updating categories. Unfortunately, that nasty connection error cited by Ghislaine started again when I went to submit the third filter I had ready to go.

I have tried adding FF 3 to my firewall exceptions list...even tried turning off my firewall during an attempt to submit but no joy. Note: I did try shutting down FF 3 and restarting. I got a new updating categories message and thought yeah it's going to submit but alas the connection error reared its ugly head. |

I do not think that this problem comes from us. You was able to submit a lot of filters before having this problem. After adding FF to my firewall exceptions list this didn't changed nothing about the problem. So maybe it depends of what they do on their server. Maybe they reserve time for submissions, another time for checking and setting new submited filters, another time for something else... on their server. But I still beleive that the problem comes from their side.
I was lucky this morning for having ability to submit 4 filters. |
