I downloaded and installed Version 3.0 today and there's a problem with the permissions. While I was able to fix them using the console, others may not know how to do it. Just thought I'd let you know ... |

I had the same issue, and used the same resolution - just adding a voice to the issues. |

You need to change the access rights for the Filter Forge folder. Please follow these steps:
1. Click the Filter Forge folder in Applications.
2. Select 'Get Info' -- a pane will open.
3. If your user name is there in the user list, set the permissions to 'Read and write'. If your user name isn't listed click the '+' button and add the user to the list, then set the permissions to 'Read and write'. You might need to click the small lock icon at the bottom of the pane and enter an admin password to unlock the permissions box.
4. After you finish setting the permissions, don't forget to click the lock icon again -- to 'lock' the choice. |
