Description
I'm not entirely sure this is physically accurate or correct (and it certainly isn't volumetric), but I have noticed a lacking of "currents" in FF filters, and tried my hand at experimenting with them. In my Snowfall filter, I had volumetric snow that needed motion blur, and fr om that I taught myself a bit about currents/flow/fluids in terms of the physics simulating them.Essentially it is broken down into a very simple function:1. Things are wh ere they are (objects/position) [pixels]2. There is something that moves them (a force/velocity) [offset]3. Objects have a new position and are acted upon again (time passes/integration) [iterate]Another thing more about this filter itself is that it's not meant to be a final product, or very fast. It's mostly a tech demo of something I discovered and would like to share as a "tech upgrade" to FF. I would love to hear discussions/improvements/uses come from this :)
