This effect was generated in Filter Forge, a Photoshop plugin that allows you to create your own filters.
Just a simple little filter primarily for use with close-ups of faces, front on. The first set of distortion controls can alter faces on a fairly subtle basis. The 2nd set of distortions is for much wilder alterations. The 3rd set is set one and two in series with each other.
The offsets are mostly for re-positioning your image after wild distortions.
Selection position #1 and #2 are the 'finished' positions and work independently of each other. Position #3 is set #1 and set #2 in series and combines the two that way. #4 and #5 are just something I threw in as 'what if's'.
When using the Selector in position #3, use the #3 distortions for wild variations and the first set of distortion controls for fine tuning.
