Description

Metal Grid Melter is a *quick rendering* photo altering filter that gives a metallic grid (and often melting) look to your photos. This filter is just for fun, and pretty easy to tweak. Unlike most of my filters, the controls for this one, are listed top-to-bottom, in the order that they are applied to the picture. Hint = Lower the Surface Shine control, to get more shiny plastic/polished aluminum looks. Inspired by, and a tribute to - the old Toadies "Cyborg" filter for Photoshop, and all of StevieJ's recent FF filters focusing on metal and metallics. Long live the T-1000 ! Note : This V2 update adds some new grid related adjustment controls, and does not increase the render time at all. Also added 3 new presets. This V3 update adds a new *Grid Mode* shaping switch, removes a frame module that was not being used, does not increase the render time, and includes 3 new presets. Also, some control parameters were added/combined/modified slightly.
