Description
This effect filter turns your image into simple hand-inked and colored cartography, complete with meridians and border treatment. Usable for treasure maps, nautical navigation charts and the like.
Thanks to uberzev for the 'Circular Angle Gradient' technique.
Tips:
- The 'Terra Firma' slider sets the extraction 'mode' used to generate the geography. It supports HSB (1-3), Lab (4-6) and RGB (7-9) channel extraction, as well as L (10) of HSL and Y (11) of HSY. Not every channel works well with every image, so be sure to experiment.
NOTE: The meridians currently only work correctly on square source images and with 'Size, pixels' set to maximum.
