Description

This filter gives you the ability to create images that have the feel of Impressionism and Pointillism. Monet, Seurat, Van Gogh – you name it, you can be it!

CONTROLS:
Hue and Tonal Variations: These sliders do not – unlike the global "Variation" slider – create random algorithm variations, but control how much the hue and brightness of the individual strokes vary from the original. With these settings, you can create anything from a soft oil painting to an abstract pointillist image.

Van Gogh Factor: This controls the "waviness" of the strokes. Not surprisingly, the effect is more obvious when the strokes are longer, and at the extreme of these controls you lose all sense of shape, but used judiciously, the Van Gogh Factor can give your image a lovely sort of "Starry Night" feeling.
